Quilting Treasures is a Sydney based professional long arm machine quilting business in Pymble on the Upper North Shore run by Christy and her husband Eric using state of the art technology for a quilting service of the highest quality. Christy uses the Gammill Statler Stitcher Optimum Model quilting machine in a dedicated studio. We are pleased to offer our clients and their quilts a smoke-free environment.

About Christy…

My name is Christy Wang and I am a quilter who appreciates the energy and love it takes in producing a beautiful finished product. Ten years ago my mother taught me and a few friends how to quilt. Since that time I have embraced quilting with a passion, and made many quilts for friends and family.

What I find so invigorating is the endless creativity and use of colour that quilting demands. This “hobby” has grown into a passion, and now into a business. Through the years I have embraced the quilting world and explored many different techniques and styles. I have also hosted workshops at my home to assist new quilters in learning this wonderful art.

In addition to quilting I am a Registered Nurse. I have worked at many hospitals in the area over the years, and become very familiar using a variety of software programs. In recent years I have taken on training roles, including the use of triage computer software, and have found that this background has well-equipped me to use the quilting machine software.

Combined with the professional training I have received to use the Gammill Longarm Optimum Machine, I am very excited to offer its many features to my clients. The Gammill system is well known in the industry as being one of the best professional quilting machines available. The Statler Stitcher is the specialised computer software which is spatially connected to the sewing table and allows for over 1000 design options.
